About Us

is a non-governmental organization founded by Mrs. Hiratai Kamble in 1994 with the vision of creating a just and equitable society where women, children, and disadvantaged groups live with dignity, safety, and independence. For over three decades, MVK has been working towards the mental, physical, and economic development of women, promoting equality, education, and empowerment across Maharashtra.
We believe that every woman deserves a voice, every child deserves protection, and every person deserves an opportunity to live free from violence and discrimination

Women Empowerment Initiatives

Skill training and entrepreneurship guidance through Self Help Groups.
Awareness campaigns on domestic violence, health, and hygiene.
Mahila Vikas Kendra (MVK) is committed to empowering women by promoting self-reliance and financial independence.
Under our Women Empowerment Initiative, we organize skill development and livelihood training programs for Self Help Group (SHG) members, tribal women, young girls, and even men from marginalized communities.

Family Counseling & Legal Aid

We focus primarily on reuniting families through proper counseling and communication.
In addition to emotional support, we also provide free legal counseling to women, helping them understand their rights and available legal remedies.
Our goal is to help couples overcome disputes peacefully and build a safe, respectful, and harmonious family environment

Education & Literacy Programs

Mahila Vikas Kendra (MVK) strongly believes that education is the foundation for empowerment and social change. Through our Education and Literacy Program, we organize awareness campaigns and learning activities in communities, especially in tribal and underprivileged areas.Our team works to motivate young boys and girls who have dropped out of school to continue their education

Health and Mental Well-being

Our organization conducts health awareness camps, nutritional guidance sessions, and medical check-ups to promote physical well-being among women and children. We also focus on menstrual hygiene awareness and maternal health support Conducting regular health check-up camps for women in rural and tribal areas.
